What is Explorer Scouting?

Explorer Scouting is a fun packed Leader lead programme for young people aged between 14 and 18.
It is organised at a District Level into Units, these Units often have a partnership agreement with a particular Scout Group.
There are three main types of unit:-
- General which offer a varied weekly programme
- Specialist which concentrate on a specific activity such as Scuba Diving
- Young Leaders Unit which provides support and training for the Young Leaders in the District
